Default Let us earn Asura, Norn or vanguard points in dungeons or add new dungeons!!

At the minute its relatively (excuse the language) piss easy to get Drawf points due to the 'secret lair of the snowmen' dungeon. Which is also quite fun and takes a very small amount of time to do.

Its also relatively easy all-round because all dungeons give drawf points, and dungeons are one of the main repeatable aspects of the game! (But im using the snowman dungeon as an example, because its fun and gives a high return on points very easily).

So its just a case of re-playing it and you soon increase rank. With the introduction of HM (eventually) those points will increase!

Now unfortunately the same cant be said for Asura, Norn or Vanguard points. Yes we have polymock, boxing and Norn tournaments but they are more pvp and not everyone likes that kind of thing.

I find the those games frustrating because im not good at close combat and polymock can result in banging your head off the desk!

Also they give back a very small rewards for points and even the repeatable quests for those races either dont give points or very few!

So im suggesting that...

1) We either be allowed to choose which reputation to use dungeons likes in the snowman dungeon (which is unlikely), or...
2) We get 'fun' dungeons similar to the snowman one, dedicated to the other races.

I accept that Drawf points could be concidered more important to fight against the destroyers, but it cant be denied that its unfairly easy to get drawf points compared to any other race.

I also accept that Drawfs dont give bounties above ground, like the other races. But there is no real incentive to farm an instance with a bounty for the Asura, Norn or Vangaurd.

Your not completing a quests or dungeon... your just farming an instance. Its not the same as replaying an enjoyable dungeon underground with some challenge and a chest at the end as a reward.

So we either need a way to earn alternative race points in dungeons, or we need new dungeons that give Asura, Norn or vangaurd points through bounties.

All you would need is an Asuran, Norn and Vanguard NPC at res points in dungeons to give alternative bounties. Or have the res point allow you to choose with bounty to take!

That would be easier then adding whole new dungeons, but that is another option! I think that would help remove this dislike of the grind for ranks!

Drawf ranks cant really be considered a grind because you earn those by re-playing dungeons, which is the main aspect of GWEN. And you get a chest to open at the end, which is a huge insentive!

But other races require nothing more then farming to increase ranks, or getting a tiny 100 points from a mini game, or no mini game for the vangaurd!

This might not make 100% sense to give other race bounties in dungeons which the drawfs dug! But its the only way I see to make it more enjoyable to earn race points for others!

I agree that doing the dungeons, especially with the rewards the offer, is so much more fun that running Magus Stones 100 times, but they should keep the dungeons to the dwarves, to at least keep the plot element with the title secure. They should, though, add new Master or Elite quests in the other territories. For instance, a quest that puts you up against like 500 Charr, so you'd have well over 5k worth of points after completing it. That would be hella-fun.

However, I don't think we'll need too much help maxing the titles, seeing as I've done all the quests and cleared each territory, putting me around 40k in each title. And we're still on week 2. We've got more than a year to milk this expansion, and HM will make title grinding a bit easier too. I would like to see other Elite missions besides Slaver's Exile, that go for each other title.

I accept that earning points isnt hard, I mean im on rank 5+ on them all after just a few weeks. But the difference with the Snowman dungeon is that its fun... unlike alot of other dungeons or quests which are (as they should be) frustratingly hard at times.

The snowman dungeon pits you against lvl15 creatures, unlike any other dungeon and it makes it unfair on other race points.

What other race can you earn points for by facing up against such easy foes?

I would assume your char idea would be lvl20-24 creatures and probably alot harder then the snowman dungeon. That would the clash IMO!

If they added new quests which gave decent rewards similar to that, they would have to make it fair by adding creatures of similar strengths to the snowmen. Otherwise it would still be alot easier for drawf points.

Well, I think those repeatable dungeon quests should give rep points for reward. That Ebon Vanguard leader guy told me he's going to put in a good word for me to Captain Langmar when I handed him the hammer of kathandrax, so why didn't I get any points?

Well, IMO, the Snowman lvl is a bit buffed like the original Secret Cow level in Diablo II was. Making them all that easy wouldn't say much to maxing GWEN titles.

Here's another suggestion: Why don't they make the 11 repeatable primary quests have an automatic hunt active for the reputation they belong to, like the 'A Land Of Heroes' quest in Nightfall? That way, those quests are worth repeating. The way it works now, I get more reputation from cleaning out a single explorable than from filling out an entire Hero book.

Those repeatable quests are quite pointless right now: no reputation per kill, no spawning chests, just 100-300 reputation at the end and 2,500 for a full book. (And, the linear play of these quests is actually more boring to repeat than going with guildies and rampaging the $%#@ out of an explorable, but that just my opinion.)

Ebon Vanguard mini game is needed (other race has their mini game) especially clearing the area for Ebon Vanguard is harder than other races.

I'd like to see asura/norn/vanguard points included in the dungeon quest rewards. That would be a super easy thing to put in, especially considering that it was in place during the preview (to the best of my knowledge). Also it would make complete sense from the perspective of lore.

It's pretty obvious to me that the way the system is right now is deliberately set up to to keep people playing GW:EN longer than they otherwise would. Otherwise they would have made weapons and armor available at rank 3.[Personally, it's not a big deal to me because if I don't want to grind for a higher rank then I won't do it. And if I do want to then I have plenty of time before GW2 comes out.] Because rep rank seems intentionally difficult to increase, I don't believe they'll improve things soon (except with the addition of HM bounties).

And there's no way they're adding extra content anytime soon.

I'd be happy if the end reward for dungeons was the same each time you went through. 5k norn points for Slaver's each time? Sign me up.

Let the secret lair be total random experience. As you enter it randomly decides which one you get.

1. Dwarves Points – Snowmen (just like it is with same rewards)
2. Norn Points- Halloween theme with appropriate creatures same level. (Halloween event items for rewards)
3. Asura Points- Dragon festival theme with appropriate creatures same level. (Dragon fest style rewards)
4. Vangard Points- Can’t think of any theme at the moment maybe With Lucky St Patty day style rewards.

Well what would make sense is if the dungeon had two points in it, dwarven and the regions species. If your in CHarr lands it's dwarven/vanguard, plus maybe have dungeons give the bonus for the lands they are in. Right now the dwarven bonus is really only good in like 1 or two dungeons and even then it's not super great.

According to wiki there are dungeons with rep rewards already...
You get 3000 vanguard points for completing Rragar's Menagerie for instance.

Well you also get the quest reward of 15k experience, 2750 gold, and a total of 7 chest drops (one of which is always onyx and they're like 10k right now).

I particulary liked a dungeon that always gives event items.
But many other event items are left out:

We already have.
Wintersday: Snow. Dwarves.

Halloween: Creep. Vanguard.
Dragon Festival/Canthan new year: Spirituality. Asura.
Rest of themes (Easter, Saint Patric, etc): Many different things, those that fight alone. Norn.
